Prison – “Sunset Park (single edit)”

RSTB favorites Prison pull back the curtain on the other half of their upcoming album, Big Rigs on the BQE. “Sunset Park” gets a bite-sized video treatment, a quick whiff of the side-long stunner that adorns the second half of the band’s new album. A bit more bitten and blistered than the choogle-chug of “Sunrise Highway,” the new cut is branded with the blisters of psychedelia; tumbling hand percussion with psionic keys, the curdle of bass, and their blooze-born guitar. The new record stretches wide at the end of the month, arriving July 31st from Drag City. The full force of both track can be felt then, but until now, let the lite-bites of the radio edits serve you well.
