RSTB faves Mountain Movers return this week with news of a brand new batch of instrumentals recorded live to tape. A shift from the noise-soaked folk and scuffed rock that permeated 2024’s Walking After Dark, the new album takes a darker turn through tense passages that highlight the band’s impeccable interplay. “Killing Frost” finds the band seething through a nocturnal sweat, cold and anxious, bristling against the humid atmospheres. The new album, Knifethrowers, crawls into view October 2nd from fellow CT legends Redscroll Records.
