The Gnomes – “With A Gnomes”

After the ‘90s burn of first single “Batteries”, The Gnomes return to the garage for their second, ushering a new EP into the world with the incredulously named “With A Gnomes.” Towering guitar fuzz, a crash of drums and just the right amount of sneer fix the mix here, cementing the band as the resurrectors of riff for 2026. If we were back in the early aughts, The Gnomes would be the kind of band that every magazine would breathlessly endorse as ‘saving rock ’n roll,’ but it’s 2026 and no one’s looking to save or savor anything. The band just seem to be having the time of their lives and they’re dragging us all into the wave of amp-fuzzed fun in the process. The new EP, With a Gnome, is out this week.
