Real Numbers – “Star”

Trying to slip as many songs onto the site as possible these days, despite a busier schedule, but I’m thrilled to see a new single from RSTB faves Real Numbers. The band lets loose a second cut from their upcoming new album, Was It Always This Way. Jangling like a lost Sarah classic, the song lands on the softer side of indie pop, nipping at Field Mice and St Christopher, eyeing Brighter in the corner. The band’s bittersweet harmonies wash over strums and swoons, leaving room for just a little heartbreak in between. Check out the spare clip for “Star” above. The band’s new album Was It Always This Way is out August 14th from Slumberland.
