A good week for country caps off with an excellent new single from site favorite Mac Cornish. The single comes with news of Cornish’s second studio offering, on the way to the world this September. “Wayfaring Woman” sets the mood, sinking into ‘70s country; a breakup gem that’s bathed in bar light and sweetened by steel, strums, and Cornish’s resilient croon. The song sets its protagonist on the road, shaking off the last vestiges of soured love. The accompanying video from Janaya Pardo gives the cut a cinematic feel.
