Sylvie – “Not Looking Back Anymore”
by Andy
The week always ends a bit better with a new single from Sylvie on the speakers. The band releases their second peek into New Season, the upcoming debut from the band, following a stellar EP a few years back. “Not Looking Back Anymore” credits its muse to leaving the past behind. The song settles onto the speakers with a reclined atmosphere, a rumpled, cowl-necked charm that scans the horizon as the sun dips and the city lights start to glow on on the hills. The song coats the soul like cognac and clove; wistful but never wallowing. The band’s debut, New Season, is out November 6th from Ghostly International.
