Aluminum – “Distant Noise”
by Andy
Another beautifully smudged single from Aluminum. “Distant Noise” leans back into the dream of their debut, a hazy, heady single that’s propulsive and pillowy at the same time. The band’s latest finds them pushing towards pop a bit more and it’s clear that they’re able to balance the shift without losing the fizz they were founded on with tracks like “Distant Noise.” The quiet comforts of dreampop are cocoon the listener as they ebb closer to their new album, Iconoclast Haha, out October 30th from Felte.
