Lightheaded – “Bright Happy Girls”

Can’t get enough of the debut LP from Lightheaded. The NJ janglers slipped onto the year-end list last year with their infectious EP and they aim to tighten their hold on the pop loving populace with Combustible Gems. The latest single, “Bright Happy Girls,” makes good on the title, a sunshine strummer flecked with harmonies, fuzz guitar, and fizzy percussion. It’s the kind of song that’s made for Summer. Best to get this one in your shopoing bag as soon as possible, you’re gonna need it all Summer long. The band’s new album is out May 17th from Slumberland.
