Sad Eyed Beatniks – “It’s Who Makes The Scene”

Another strummer out of the upcoming Sad Eyed Beatniks hits the streams today. As Kevin Linn gears up for a new album from Meritorio, the singles have found him peaking just out of the haze of the project’s past. The song sways atop strums and a layer of fuzz that coats its tale of tipping the scales. Like Cindy or April Magazine, Sad Eyed Beatniks bring up the gauziest end of the indie pop spectrum, glazing the speakers with a woolly veneer. The new record, Ten Brocades, is out July 12th from Meritorio.
