Peel Dream Magazine – “Lie In The Gutter”

A new single slips out today from indie pop purveyors Peel Dream Magazine, heralding their new album Rose Main Reading Room. “Lie In The Gutter” skitters along on a soft-hearted beat, letting the organ bloom around it as vocalist Olivia Babuka Black reclines into their collective cocoon with nods to Lætitia Sadier, Broadcast, and The Sea and Cake. Peel Dream had an exemplary run on Slumberland, but they jump to Topshelf for the upcoming album, revisiting the sounds of some of their earlier works while crystalizing their propulsive pop vision. The new record is out September 4th.
