Dom Sensitive – “R&D”

Dom Trimboli (Wireheads, Dom & the Wizards) has been a constant fixture around the site, so it’s always fun to see what’s next out of the Aussie songwriter. He pivots once more to a new outfit, Dom Sensitive and leads off with the first single, “R&D, a song that heralds a shift in tone and temperament. Still bristling with the prickly energy that’s informed his past projects, this one ditches the post punk for a midnight dive into trash bin beats, shredded samples, and nocturnal auras. The project finds him in league once again with kindred spirit Tom Spall, and the pair have hammered out a scaly collection of mutant pop on the upcoming Leather Trim. The new record is out September 28th from Dinosaur City.
